Why Can’t I Pull Slot Name in Zapier or Integration Settings?

Slot Name isn’t exposed in Zapier; you’ll need to format in Zapier/CRM or query via the Slottable API.

What Data is Available in the Slottable Zapier Integration?

The Slottable Zapier integration currently supports only three components:

  1. A List of Things – The only place where the Thing name is exposed.

  2. A Contact Changed Trigger

  3. A Registrant Stage Changed Trigger

At this time, Slot Name is not an exposed field in Zapier or integration settings.

Why Isn’t Slot Name Available?

Slottable does not currently publish Slot Name or Event Name as a standard variable in Zapier or its pre-built integrations. Users needing this information must retrieve and format it manually, either in Zapier or within their CRM automation.

Is There an API Endpoint for Slot Name or Event Details?

If you need Slot or Event details, including name and date/time, you can query the Slottable API directly.

You can use this endpoint to look up Slot Types by Company ID and Slot Type ID.

If you have a Booking ID and need to retrieve Slot Name and other related data, you’ll need to build a custom API call referencing this endpoint.

Workarounds

Until Slot Name is natively supported in Zapier or other integrations, you can:
Format data manually in Zapier
Use CRM automation to add Slot information
Build a custom API workflow using the endpoint above

The simplest and most effective workaround is to use Integration Customizations to apply a Thing-Specific tag to a contact when a booking is made. This tag allows you to easily identify which Slot Type/Thing was booked. With a small automation in your CRM, you can then populate a custom field with this information.
